Have you not yet visited Kleftiko, the cave of Sykia, Cape Vani or even the island of Poliegos? Do you want to swim in the crystal clear waters of the bay of Gerakas and the beach of Gerontas? You are in the right place!
Not an island of Aphrodite, not an erotic island or a "couple island"
No journalistic cliché can respond exactly to this collectible piece of Aegean land left behind by the eruption of a volcano.
As an introverted, almost secretive being, Milos is not going to open up to you if you are not willing to spend enough time with it, climb rocks, dive in crystal clear waters, drive on dirt roads and explore its seabed.
Without a doubt, Milos owes most of its fame to its stunning and extremely diverse beaches.
The enchanting images, the rocks with the special formations, come from Kleftiko, the Cave of Papafragas and Sykia, in the southern part of the island, which were pirate strongholds. To visit these beaches of unique beauty, but also to explore their seabed, you should travel around the island with boats that depart daily from the port of Adamas.
The most photographed part of Milos, after Kleftiko and Sarakiniko, is the tiny fishing village of Klima below Tripiti. Everyone comes here, on the most famous slope of Milos to photograph the unique Wires. These are the typical two-storey houses of the fishermen, at the bottom of which, behind the colorful double doors, they stored the boats to protect them from the bad weather. It is an excellent example of folk architecture found only in Milos and Kimolos. Today some of them host tourists, while one operates as a tourist shop.
The island of Milos is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, known and isolated. By renting the right boat from Poseidon Milos Boat Rental, you can enjoy daily excursions to the island. By renting a boat you will discover in Milos every idyllic part of our island.
