As the best island in the world and Europe for 2021 (Top Island in the World / Top Island in Europe), with an almost excellent score of 95.50, Milos emerged as the numerous readers of the leading American travel magazine "Travel + Leisure", who participated in the voting for the World's Best Awards 2021.
At the same time, in the category "The Top 25 Islands in the World" (The Top 25 Islands in the World), Folegandros took 2nd place, while in the category "The Top 20 Islands in Europe" (The Top 20 Islands in Europe) Greece conquered the "lion's share" as it includes seven other Greek islands, namely Folegandros in 2nd place, Santorini in 5th, Paros in 10th, Mykonos in 13th, Crete in 14th, Corfu and the Ionian Islands in 15th and Rhodes with the Dodecanese in 17th place.
