EPAL Milos Celebrates National Sports Day 2026 — Youth & Sportsmanship on the Island

As reported by Mileika Nea, the EPAL Milos high school organised a full programme of events to celebrate National Sports Day 2026. Students stepped away from their classrooms and onto the courts, taking part in basketball, volleyball and football matches alongside team-building exercises designed to reinforce the values of collaboration and mutual respect.

A highlight of the day was a student-produced video and a series of "Fair Play" workshops, where the young people of Milos discussed what integrity and respect mean in competitive sport — and in life more broadly. These are not just athletic lessons. They are character lessons, and watching the next generation of Milos residents engage with them seriously is genuinely encouraging.
